In February DWCustoms is expanding to include DWAudio.. As you may or may not know SOC Audio is changing hands this week and as part of our expansion Stu from SOC is coming across to lead up what we hope will become the one stop shop for all things custom... SOC has been operating out of Frankston for some time now and has an impressive list of vehicles under its belt... Stu brings with him not only some of the best audio installs getting around but some of the best gear as well... DWAudio will be featuring products such as Clarion, Boston Acoustics, Amg Audio, Polk and many more... About 16 months ago we built Mia's Hilux... Now it is up for sale... The truck has a completely shaved rear end with the bodyline extended through the welded tailgate... Rear corner lights have been shaved out completely and replaced with a single row led strip with indicators reverse and brake light all inclusive... The truck has been notched and tubbed with the fuel filler relocated inside the tub... The whole tub has had a fresh coat of paint both inside and out. The Hilux's leaves have been reset with small blocks installed and the torsion bars wound down to level out the truck. Mechanically the truck runs and drives great and you are more than welcome to come and ispect the truck at the shop...The truck comes with an engineers certificate for the notch and the truck is being sold for $12,500ono... please feel free to call the shop for more info or to organise an inspection...

After 5 years we finally got the opportunity to airbag les's Awesome 50 Merc... The design brief for this car was to make the system entirely bolt in as to preserve the detailed undercarriage and presence this car has... Les's car is immaculate and is a fine example of what a load of dedication and time achieves... This year we have hopped on board as major sponsors of Gasolene and we thought what better car to illustrate the benefits of air suspension in than this amazing sled... The feature on the Merc will be going to air in February and demonstrates the benefits air suspension can have as well as the importance of creating road legal customs through following stringent design guidelines for modifications in place across all states of Australia... Thanks go to Mick at Gasolene for giving us the opportunity to be part of what has become one of the highest raing shows on Channnel 31 and to Les for supporting us through allowing us to utilise his AWSM50...

Last week a friend of the shop got bored and seeing that we had some vacant real estate on the wall decided to gift us with a massive piece... You can check out the progress in the gallery... Quite a while back we did some work for HPF building all of the suspension and installing an accuair system into a 2007 Hilux... See where it all started and have a laugh at the TV amateurs in this our first TV spot...This is the second part of the two episodes displaying what OzGarage could be with a real budget and production team. Introducing the ‘Lolux Project’ with help from the boys at DW Customs, this is a car that will redefine what the Horsepower Factory are capable of. We also check out the new TRD Hilux to see how the factory offering compares with our heavily modified Hilux.

Following on from last weeks introduction to the Lolux project, this we we fast forward to current day and see the car in the final stages of paint. Rob also gives viewers a rundown on how far the mechanicals of the Lolux have come including the twin turbo V6 engine and massive brakes. As a break from the Holden and Ford based episodes we cover an upgrade on a MY08 Subaru Impreza STi. See the boys fit forged pistons and an upgraded turbo to really release the potential of the all wheel drive beast.
